Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management which uses pest and environmental information in combination with our pest control methods to eliminate pests by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment. IPM is not a single pest control method but, rather, a series of pest management evaluations, decisions and controls:

* Inspection – Assessing Your Situation

* Identification – Preventing Future Infestations

* Investigation – Exploring Contributing Conditions

* Recommendations – Preventing Future Infestations

* Implementation – Non-Chemical Solutions

* Application – Targeting Treatment Options

Emphasis is placed on pest control education, inspection, pest identification, sanitation, communication and cooperation of the customer. The focus of the pest control program is Preventive Maintenance which is achieved by identifying and eliminating conditions which are conducive to supporting pest populations. Certified Pest Control takes advantage of all appropriate pest management options including, but not limited to, the judicious use of pesticides.
